Random Picture Time! (乱数写真時間!)

Another set of random photographs! This time they are all pretty recant, all being from the same day about two weeks ago when my family and I went to a family reunion. We had a pretty good time and the ranch it was held at is located in a beautiful canyon, so here are the pictures from that event. At the end of the event, as we were leaving the house and getting ready to head home, we were greeted to a wonderful sunset (Picture at bottom), so enjoy:

T.S.O.M.A.S.A. - Chapter 4 (第四章)

Here is chapter four of T.S.O.M.A.S.A, it is a little bit shorter than the last chapters but it is still a very important one indeed. This chapter introduces the 'Prophecy' and brings up the search for the 'One True Wielder of the Arma' and that there will be a new enemy (The prophecy is at the end of the chapter in italics). Here it is and Enjoy!

Chapter 4:
          The Prophecy

“I understand,” Master Onderwijzer said, “So it appears as though the prophecy may in fact be true after all, and that it is happening within my lifetime.”
“What would you like me to do Master?” Wilonius asked.
“Please bring all three of them to my office.” He replied.
“Now or after their current class is out of session?” Wilonius thought aloud.
“Now please.” Ludwig answered abruptly.

“Good morning students,” Malaika said as she entered her classroom, “Today is your first session of Ability Management. In this class, I will teach you how to, as the name of the class suggests, manage your powers and abilities.”
“Why do we need to ‘manage our abilities’?” Bradley asked, the other students agreeing with him.
“That is a very good question Bradley,” she started, “The answer is in your performances from yesterday. Although you all showed great skill, I know as well as you do that you put al of your power into doing it and it is evident in the fact that you are all exhausted now, as I look around the room, you are all tired.”
“Is there anything wrong with showing you our true power?” Sen Hyung asked, the students again agreeing in unison.
“No there isn’t anything wrong with that at all,” she said, “but that is the purpose of this class, to teach you how to control how much energy you use up when using \your abilities and so you are able to do more powerful attacks without depleting so much of your energy. This class is also for helping with understanding your power. Some of you are not confident using your powers and don’t understand why they had to be the one that was given this great burden, therefore I will help you overcome those personal feelings.”
“First, I will…” she was interrupted by Wilonius as he entered the classroom, “Hello Wilonius, may I help you with something?”
“Yes, Master Onderwijzer would like to see Kasumii, Zokeii and Jake please.” Wilonius said, the entire class shocked, thinking they were already in trouble, only being the second day of school.
“We are just about to start class; can’t it wait until after class?” Malaika wondered.
“I’m sorry Malaika,” Wilonius apologized, “It is VERY important.”
“Oh of course, I forgot.” Malaika said, “Very well students please go with Master Wilonius at once.”
The three of them stood out and followed Wilonius out of classroom as the other students stared in awe and astonishment. Kasumii and Zokeii were horribly confused, unsure if they were in trouble or not, and why Jake? Was this about what happened yesterday when all three of them were able to bond with their Arma? What ever the reason, they were unsure and as they walked down the long hallways, they did not realize that Jake, who was walking close behind, was sporting a sinister smile, possibly aware of what was to come as they arrived at the door of Master Onderwijzer’s office. Wilonius knocked using the large golden Lion-headed door knockers. A voice from inside beckoned them in and Wilonius opened the door. As they walked into the large chamber, the scent of something freshly baked hit them. The room was a finely decorated chamber with high ceilings with a huge glass dome as the top. The room was round and filled with book shelves. At the end of this room, a grand desk with a tall chair, nearly ten feet tall, sitting in this chair, looking miniature compared to the rest of the room was Master Onderwijzer himself. Sitting on his desk was a platter with what appeared to be freshly baked cookies, which is where the smell was obviously coming from.
“Welcome students.” He greeted them, “Don’t worry, your not in trouble, why don’t you come over and have one of my famous homemade cookies?”
“I have to warn you students,” Wilonius whispered before they walked across the room, “Master Onderwijzer’s cooking is not the best in the world and he doesn’t like it when other people don’t enjoy his cooking.”
“What are you all whispering about over there?” Onderwijzer said, “Come sit down and have a cookie.”
He pointed at three chairs in front of his desk that weren’t there before, they walked over and the three students sat down in the stiff short chairs. He beckoned for them to take a cookie, which Kasumii and Zokeii reluctantly picked up.
“Go on Jake, have one.” Master Onderwijzer said.
“Sorry, I don’t do cookies. I happen to be allergic to chocolate.” Jake replied with a scowl.
“”Oh I’m very sorry Jake, I had no idea.” He replied coyly, “Well, what do you two think of my famous cookies? Don’t worry, they don’t bite… much.”
The two looked at each other and reluctantly took a bite. At first it was rather tasty, fresh and chocolaty, and then they were hit by something, something very, very spicy.
“What is in this?” Kasumii asked, fanning her tongue off.
“Yeah, it feels like an atomic bomb just went off in my mouth.” Zokeii said on the verge of crying.
“Why it’s my secret recipe. Chocolate chips, sugar flour, eggs, milk, and two tablespoons of crushed Bhut Jolokia, otherwise know as the Ghost Chili.” He replied, “Aren’t they delicious?”
The two tried to hide the fact that they were dying and both nodded their heads, Wilonius giving them both a tall glass of cold milk to soothe their scorched throats and burnt mouths. All the while, Jake was laughing hysterically at their pain.
“Sorry about that, children, I probably should have warned you that they were a bit spicy.” Onderwijzer said, sounding only slightly concerned.
“Just a thought for next time, maybe.” Kasumii said still suffering from the burning.
“Yes well let’s get down to business shall we?” Master Onderwijzer said, completely changing his tone now, “It appears as though the three of you have all bonded with your weapons on the first try. This has only happened once in the history of this school, once about fife hundred years ago. There is an ancient prophecy that reported that this would happen at some point and we had thought for sure that the last time it had happened that the prophecy was coming true, but it didn’t and we went for five hundred years without another incident, which is until yesterday when the three of you did the same.”
“Is that a problem?” Jake asked abruptly.
“I’m afraid it is.” The Master replied, “The prophecy states that when this happens, a great calamity will happen and someone will try and take over the world. This person can only be stopped by the One True Wielder of the Arma, which would be one of you three.”
“Who is this evil person that is supposed to take over the world then?” Kasumii asked.
“It is not quiet sure who it is at the moment, although there are a number of possibilities.” He answered, “One thing is for sure, whoever it is, is not someone we want to be taking over this world, if that happens, life as we know it will end.”
It went silent for a while as the students thought amongst themselves looking at each other and then looking back at their principle.
“We must prepare for this disaster immediately,” He started again, “If the prophecy is true, then it could be happening within the end of the school year. We must get the three of you ready for this, we will have to figure out which one of you is the One True Wielder of the Arma, this however will be a long and difficult task and it will take many hours of after curricular studying and training.”
“Master Onderwijzer, I will do whatever it takes to help,” Kasumii passionately shouted, standing on her chair throwing her fist in the air.
“I guess I will do the same.” Zokeii said, doing the same thing as Kasumii, realizing that she had just embarrassed herself, to make it not as embarrassing for her.
“You are all crazy, but I guess that can’t be helped, I’ll do the extra training, too.” Jake said, not standing on his chair but, like the others, punched his fist in the air as well.
“Now we must be sure that no one, I repeat no one knows about this, understood?” Master Onderwijzer said in a low deep voice, “or the consequences will be dire.”
“What will I tell my sister and friends when they find out I have to take a whole bunch of extracurricular classes?” Kasumii said, somewhat afraid of the drastic change of his attitude.
“Just tell them the truth, without telling them the truth. Got it?” He said, again changing his voice to the happy and funny way he had been talking previously.
“I don’t understand.” She replied.
“Tell your friends that you are going to take after school classes to improve yourself, which is what you are doing.” He stated, “Just don’t tell them that it has to do with a possible life changing event in the bear future, understood?”
“Understood.” The three said together, somewhat off, but still together.
They stood up and started for the door before he started to speak again.
“Oh, and students, please call me by my Moniker ‘Meester’, that way you don’t have to keep saying my long name.” He said with a big, goofy grin.
The three nodded to this reply and left the office, heading back to their class, giggling as they thought of the name they had just been told to call their headmaster.
“So who is it?” Meester asked aloud, now that he was alone in the office.
“He is definitely the one.” a voice said from behind one of the bookcases. The bookcase opened suddenly and revealed Wilonius and Duchess, who had been listening to the whole conversation from this hiding place. “It is strange however, his thoughts did not show any sign of him being an evil person, in fact he hardly thought at all, it’s like he is being driven by instincts alone.”
“It could be possible that he knew that you were reading his mind and therefore kept his thoughts clear.” Wilonius suggested.
“If that is true,” Meester said, “Then he is a bigger threat then we realized. What about the other two?”
“It is not yet certain which one is the True One, they both appear to have generally positive thoughts.” Duchess said, “If I had to choose one, though I would put my bet on the girl, she seems the most powerful of the three.”
”I understand.” Meester said, “Then it shall start tomorrow.”

The three students had just left the corridor leading to Master Onderwijzer’s office, when they realized that there weren’t any lights coming outside. Kasumii ran over to a window and looked out of the window to the surprising discovery that it was already night time.
“How can it already be night outside?” Kasumii questioned, “How long were we in the office?”
“It seemed like it was only a few minutes, a half an hour at most.” Zokeii said, confused as well.
“Don’t you two even know what that guy’s power is?” Jake said disgusted at his fellow students’ lack of knowledge, “He has the ability to alter the dimensions. What you thought was half an hour, was really more like nine hours.”
“Nine hours! So then we don’t get lunch?” Kasumii sadly said.
“If that is true than it is almost dinner time, I still can’t believe it though.” Zokeii said unsurely.
“I guess we’ll see as soon as we see get to the Dining Hall, wont we?” Kasumii said starting to increase her pace, “Come on let’s go, nine hours without eating and I’m starving!”
They reached the grand hallway within less then half an hour, after being only slightly lost, to find that the other students had just started to arrive for dinner, they followed the group and entered the Dining Hall. Jenny and Kuichi were already seated and waiting for them.
“Hey Kasumii, Zokeii, over here!” Jenny shouted as she saw that her friends had entered.
“Did you want to sit with us Jake?” Kasumii politely offered.
“Why?” He replied, somewhat confused by the kind gesture.
“Because you’re our friend now and friends eat dinner together.” She answered.
“I guess if you really want me to.” He said, “As long as you don’t try and set me up with your weird friend or something.”
“Jenny is not weird! She is just really happy.” She defended her.
“But does she have to be so happy all of the time?” He said, still unsure.
“That’s just how she is, if she bothers you that much, you don’t have to eat with us.” She said.
“Fine, fine whatever.” He abruptly ended the conversation.
The three walked over to the spot that her sister and friend had chosen, and took their spots sitting on either side of them in the available spots.
“Hey Kas, why is HE with you?” Jenny whispered to Kasumii as Jake sat down near them.
“He’s cool now; he’s going to start eating meals with us now, Jen.” She said with a little sarcasm at the ending, making fun of the nickname she was just called.
“Oh, Ok. Anyway, what took you guys so long? You were gone for like ever.” Jenny said changing the subject.
“You were gone for about nine hours, you all missed Ability Management, Music, Math, and Literature.” Kasumii said quietly.
“You missed lunch too! It was delicious.” Jenny added, “We thought you died.”
“Well we’re here now aren’t we? We had to meet with Meester about something very important, it took much longer then we thought it would.” Kasumii said
“Ha, who’s ‘Meester’?” Jenny said trying not to laugh.
“Master Onderwijzer, that is his ‘Moniker’ he told us to call him that from now on.” Kasumii said.
“Well what was so important that it took nine hours?” Jenny asked.
Kasumii, Zokeii and Jake looked at each other hesitantly, unsure of what to them.
“Nothing much, the three of us are going to be taking extracurricular training programs.” Kasumii said, leaving out the reason why on purpose.
“What for?” Kuichi asked.
“We are the three strongest in the class, they think, because of what happened yesterday with the Arma. So they want to help us become the most powerful we can become, because of our potential, they don’t want us to discourage the other students with our more difficult training.” Kasumii replied.
“Oh that’s cool, I guess.” Jenny said turning her attention away, somewhat upset.
“Oh yeah, and one more thing,” Kasumii said to change the subject, “If Master Onderwijzer ever offers you some ‘world famous’ cookies, don’t take them.”
“Why?” the two asked.
“Just a recommendation, that’s all.” she replied.
Soon after, dinner was served, another delicious meal, and they all went off to go to their rooms. On their way back Jenny ran up ahead and Zokeii turned back because he forgot his coat in Meester’s office. Jake disappeared as usual, leaving only Kasumii and Kuichi to walk back alone. They were just reaching the first hallway, the one that the large door led to; when Kasumii had the overpowering feeling that someone was watching them. She turned around but no one was there.
“Is something the matter?” Kuichi asked softly.
“No, it’s nothing.” She replied, turning her gaze back in front of her.
They walked the rest of the way through the hallway and made it up to the top of the stairs, before feeling it again. This time she spun around quickly, just in time to see a dark shadow duck into one of the open doorways down below. This frightened Kasumii and caused her to run, grabbing on to Kuichi’s arm and pulling along with her.
“What’s going on?” Her sister said, startled by this action as they ran to their room.
“It’s nothing; we just need to get into our room, now!” She said as she burst though the door to their room, quickly pulling Kuichi in with her before slamming the door shut and locking it.
“What was that all about?” Kuichi said panting, confused.
“It was nothing, I thought I saw something, but it was nothing, so don’t worry about it.” Kasumii said, trying to forget it happened herself.
They went to bed early that night, tired from their long day; they needed to be ready for another full day of classes tomorrow.

“A wind of change shall show its head,
To the three that shall show true strength.
The last shall be the enemy, the first the hero.
If not realized, than all shall end in glorious light.”

T.S.O.M.A.S.A. - Chapter 3 (第三章)

Alright Chapter 3 is finally here! It's a bit late, sorry. I was busy working all week, I'm actually surprised I got it finished so soon. This chapter, as the name implies, is about Armas, the magical weapon used by the school. Enjoy!

Chapter 3:
            The Arma

The three girls, Kasumii, Kuichi and Jenny were one of the last one to leave the building to head for the dinning hall. They were ecstatic and couldn’t help but talk about their newly assigned Monikers.
“Isn’t my name so CUTE!!!” exclaimed Jenny, “They took part of my first and last names to make it! Sunny, that’s such a cute name.”
“It is very cute,” Kasumii said, “and it works with your ability. I like my Moniker, too.”
“Oh yeah, what was it again? Hydra or something like that, I didn’t really get it.” Jenny said a little confused looking.
“It’s Hydraoi.” Kasumii replied, “I think it’s a combination of Hydro, like water, and Aoi, which is Japanese for blue.”
“That’s pretty cool, what about you Kuichi?” Jenny asked, “Do you like your name?”
“Um, I like the ‘Star’ part, but the other part is kind of scary sounding.” She replied softly.
“I liked it,” Kasumii comforted her, “I thought it was really cool, it’s like it’s saying your super powerful, and yet still elegant and beautiful. You should be proud of your Moniker.”
“I guess.” Kuichi replied doubtingly.
They left the building. Outside, a number of other students, from new students to third years were walking to the Grand Dining Hall, luckily for them, because they didn’t have to find it themselves because they had not been told where it was located. They entered the large entrance they had walked through earlier, along with the other students. The group of about twenty or so students went down the long hallway until they reached a huge doorway at the end of it. The door opened to reveal a large chamber with tall vaulted ceilings and around ten large windows on either side of the room. Like many of the other rooms in the castle, the walls were finely decorated with gold and intricate designs. In the room were three sections of table, most likely for the division of the classes, they were set up in a circular shape surrounding a circular table in the center of the room, the large table had around thirty or so chairs, most likely to sit the staff and teachers. The large table to the left had a blue tablecloth which matched the material on the chairs, the table and chairs on the right were this way as well, only in green. Finally, the last table, centered in the room, and the shortest of the outer tables, had a purple tablecloth with some kind of gold material that looked as though it was made out of a golden cloud. The girls figured that the elegant table was obviously for the Third Years, so they decided to sit at the table on the left with the blue. As they sat down, a male student approached them.
“What do you newbies think you’re doing?” He barked at them. “This table is reserved for the Second Years only, you Firsties sit at the green table.”
“We’re very sorry,” Kasumii pleaded with the superior as the three girls quickly stood up, “It won’t happen again.”
“You’d better hope not.” He replied rudely as he sat down and the girls quickly walked away.
“He was very rude,” Kasumii said with a frown, “Hopefully not all of the Second and Third Years are that rude.”
“I agree with you,” Jenny replied, “But he was pretty cute though, wasn’t he?”
“Is that all you think about, Jenny, cute boys?” Kasumii said, somewhat aggravated.
“I’m sorry.” Jenny said obviously upset.
“No I’m sorry,” Kasumii replied, realizing she had hurt her friend’s feelings, “I shouldn’t have gotten mad at you like that. It was just that guy made me so mad! I hate people like that always thinking that their better than others.”
The girls chose a spot to sit near the end of the table and waited for breakfast to be served. They were seated several minutes, talking about whatnot as the other students filled in the remaining seats, then the staff showed up, taking their seats as well. Kasumii was so busy talking with her sister and friend, that she didn’t even realize who had sat down next to her, Zokeii.
“So what do you think we will be having for breakfast?” Kasumii asked the girls, “If all of the food is as good as the lunch and diner we had yesterday, than I might just explode from happiness!”
“So you like to eat then?” said a voice from beside Kasumii.
“Oh, Zokeii! I didn’t know you were sitting there!” She said, quite surprised, “I didn’t mean, I mean, what I meant to say was, I…umm.”
“Ha, it’s ok, I like a girl that knows how to eat,” He reassured her, “I can’t stand those people that starve themselves so that they can be ‘cool’, you know.”
“You know I like to eat, too!” Jenny burst into their conversation, “I once ate a whole pizza and half a chi…”
“Jenny,” Kuichi thoughtfully interrupted, “Can’t you see they are trying to talk.”
“Oh right! Sorry!” She said turning her head away in shame.
The doors in the back of the room, there were three of them, opened up suddenly and a swarm of dozens of Isadoras carrying hundreds of silver platter flooded the room, they were not aware that she could make so many duplications of herself. The four of them were so amazed at how many of them there were that they didn’t even realize one of the silver platters had been placed in front of each of them. As soon as they realized that they had been served, the multiples disappeared almost as fast as they had appeared, leaving the room much quieter, without the sounds of moving silverware and dishes and hundreds of feat. They lifted their lid to a shocking surprise; they all had different meals, Kasumii had a short stack of pancakes with extra syrup, Kuichi had homemade waffles, Jenny had eggs, sunny-side-up of course, and Zokeii got French Toast with powdered sugar. By the looks on their faces, it was apparent that they had just received one of their favorite dishes.

They enjoyed their meals and together as a group stood up and headed for their rooms to finish getting ready for their first class. As they reached the hall with there rooms, the four split to go to their separate rooms.
“Well, I’ll see you girls in class then, later.” Zokeii politely said as he opened the door to his room.
The girls waved bye to him as they walked into their rooms. As the two sisters closed the door behind them, the noticed a surprise awaited them on their beds, a clothes box. They walked over to them and written on labels were their names in a fancy script.
“What do you think it is?” Kasumii asked her sister as the two opened their packages.
As they lifted the lids off, they uncovered their new school uniforms. The uniforms were completely different from each other; the only thing matching was the colors. Kasumii’s uniform consisted of a navy blue halter top attached to long kimono-style sleeves that were slightly longer than her arms concealing her hands and revealing her shoulders the lower part of sleeves were pleated, a dark maroon skirt with pleats like the sleeves, it went to a few inches above her knees, knee length white socks and black mary-janes shoe with tall heels. Kuichi’s uniform however consisted of a long sleeved blouse, the same navy color as Kasumii’s top and it had pleated sleeves as well, only it reached just above her wrists, her skirt was the same maroon color and it reached to slightly below the knees, the socks went up her calves half way and she had traditional mary-janes with only a slight heel.
“Umm, Kasumii?” Kuichi started.
“Yeah, what is it Kuichi.” she replied.
“Do you, umm, do you really like that Zokeii guy?” Kuichi asked, not trying to offend her sister.
“I don’t know,” She replied, hiding her blush, “He seems really nice and he’s pretty cute, but I don’t know all that much about him.”
The two changed in silence and headed out of the room, only to be greeted by Jenny, who had apparently been waiting for them so that they could walk to class. She too had her new uniform on, a dress that was a few centimeters longer than her fingers, it had short sleeves with the same pleated look and it was all navy blue, it also had a sash in the same maroon color, her socks went well past her knees and her shoes matched Kuichi’s.
“OMG! Isn’t my uniform so adorable?” She exclaimed, “Your guys’ uniforms are really cute too, I didn’t know that that there would be different uniform styles, I didn’t get to see what Jadwiga was wearing, by the time I got into my room, she was already gone and the package the clothes came in weren’t on her bed, so she must have already changed.”
“Or she burned it.” Kasumii said with a chuckle.
The three girls burst out laughing as they walked down the hall. As they reached the top of the stairs, Kasumii looked back to see if Zokeii was going to come out and join them, but he was nowhere to be seen.
“Do you know if Zokeii left for class already?” Kasumii asked Jenny.
“Oh yeah, he walked past while I was waiting for you guys to come out of your room.” Jenny replied.
“Oh ok.” Kasumii said, seemingly a bit disappointed.
“Oh, but he said that he would see us in class and that if possible he would save a seat for you.” Jenny quickly added in.
“Did he really say that?” Kasumii said blushing.
“You bet he did, you lucky girl.” Jenny replied with a giggle.
The girls continued out of the building to realize that they had no idea where Room 355 Area B was located, so they looked around for someone to ask. They saw a girl sitting on a bench a short distance away and walked over to her to ask for directions. As they approached her, they realized that she was wearing the same outfit as the other staff, only in a brilliant yellow, almost gold. She was a beautiful woman with tan skin and long flowing black hair that reached her waist, she was reading a book in another language as they walked up.
“Excuse miss,” Kasumii said, “Can you tell us where Room 355 in Area B is located, we’re new here and we don’t really know our way around.”
“Sure of course,” She said in a light voice as she put her book down, revealing her magnificent yellow eyes, “It’s the first door on your right after you go to the second floor in that building right over there.”
“Thank you very much.” the girls replied as they headed in that direction.

After entering the building they had little difficulty in locating the stairs and, after climbing them, locating their classroom. They walked in to find most of the other new students were there already there and most of the seats were filled. Kasumii desperately looked around the room looking for Zokeii, she finally found him, in the middle row and next to him was an empty seat. She looked at Jenny and Kuichi and they already knew what she saw, so they nudged her to go. She walked over and sat next to him while her sister and friend found two seats next to each other near the back of the class.
“Hey.” Zokeii said as Kasumii approached the empty seat and him, “I saved a seat for you.”
“Thanks.” She said as she sat down trying to keep herself from blushing. “I…”
“Good morning students.” Lady Aethelflaed shouted as she flew through the door, “Welcome to your first class on Armas!”
She stood in front of her desk as the students turned their focus away from each other to their teacher, including Kasumii and Zokeii, who both clearly wanted to talk to each other. Duchess turned toward her desk and picked up something wrapped in paper. She unwrapped it and as the paper fell to the floor, she held up what was inside, a sword. The classroom gasped as the students in the first row ducked in terror, thinking their new teacher was going on a rampage.
“Don’t worry students,” she confided with them, “This is what we are going to be learning about today, these are Armas.”
“We all get to use swords?” Bradley asked as the other students talked amongst each other excitedly, “That is so cool.”
“Well you won’t all get swords, but yes you will each get your own Arma.” She answered, “Now I must explain to you what they are for and how they work, without this vital information, you will all be doomed, I mean, you will surely fail.”
The students were too excited about this news and were to busy talking amongst each other, that they didn’t here this last part. As they increased in volume, Duchess increased in anger.
“Alright that’s enough!” She screamed, “Now pay attention.”
The students quickly quieted and turned toward their furious teacher.
“Now that’s better.” She said quieting down, “As I was saying before, There are many things you must learn about these Arma before you can freely use them. Today I will give you the basic information and then you will be introduced to your new Arma.”
“First,” She then started, “You must know what an Arma is. An Arma is a magical weapon, it has special abilities and they will be assigned according to you special ability, These Arma are ancient fighting devices, many are over a thousand years old and over that time their power has increased by each owner that uses it. These Arma are very invaluable and irreplaceable and in the occurrence of any damages or losses to the Arma, the wrath of the heavens will fall upon you.”
The students gasped.
“Not really, but you will be heavily punished.” She said jokingly, “The next thing you need to know is that these Arma are very powerful and not all students are able to handle there power right away, it takes many lessons and months to be able to wield one of these Arma and even then you can not call yourself a master of them, we have only one record of a student loss from being destroyed by their Arma, a boy from around fifty years, he believed that he could overpower his Arma’s strength, but he couldn’t and he paid with his life.”
The students all gasped again.
“Don’t worry, as long as you follow our rules and complete all of you training lessons, then you will completely be able to control your Arma.” She again reassured them. “The last thing you need to know before you are introduced to your, is how Armas work. The reason why they are so dangerous is because they feed off of your life force, most normal people are only able to use them for a short amount of time before becoming completely exhausted, you however, have a longer time frame in which you can use them without feeling the effects of the drain, but be aware that although you will not fell it as much, it is still occurring and overusing it can and most likely will lead to death. When an Arma has chosen its wielder, it will attach itself to that person’s soul. You will feel it as soon you pick it up, if it has chosen you, if the weapon that has been assigned to you does not automatically attach to your soul, than it means you are not ready and must train more, many of you will not have the feeling of soul attachment until much later on,  but some people, who have been chosen by Destiny, will automatically bond with their weapon, this however is very rare, in fact only two student in this entire school at the present time have had this happen too them.”
She started towards the door and beckoned for the students to follow. The students all stood up and followed their teacher out of the classroom and out of the building.

Outside of the building, they followed a path to the back of the school. There they found an enormous field for playing some kind of game or for taking part in some kind of training. As they approached the center of the field, several figures emerged from the fog, Wilonius, the dark skinned woman that was at the registration meeting, and someone else, another student. He had a familiar face, someone who they had met earlier that day at breakfast when they accidentally sat in the wrong section, it was the boy that had insulted them. As Kasumii and Jenny realized who this third person was, they scowled at him and then turned their attention to Wilonius who had just begun to speak.
“It’s nice to see all again today,” He said, “I’m afraid I haven’t introduced you to one of you new teachers. This is Malaika Jua, she is going to be your Ability Management teacher, you will be attending her class tomorrow, but for now we need to assign you your Arma.”
“Thank you for the wonderful introduction, Wilonius,” Malaika said sarcastically, “Anyways children, to assign you Arma, we will first need to see a demonstration of your abilities to see what level you are at and to properly choose the correct Arma for you. This will also be a wonderful time for you children to get to know each other by finding out what each other’s ability really is.”
“Alright children now line up.” Wilonius commanded.
“We will be going one at a time and for the safety of the other students, we will ask each and every one of you to perform your ability at least one hundred meters away from the group,” Duchess stated, “and if you wouldn’t mind, we would like to begin immediately, so may the first student please come forward?”
The first volunteer stepped up, Bradley.
“I Bradley Worm the third, shall show you my incredible prowess. Behold!” Bradley exclaimed.
He then started mumbling random things about mathematics, cosmology, archaeology and pretty much anything else that nobody there cared about.
“Alright Bradley,” Wilonius said, “That’s enough! Your weapon is the Taiaha named Gwybodaeth.”
“Oh a Taiaha, a traditional weapon of the Maori peoples of New Zealand,” stated Bradley, “and the name Gwybodaeth is Welsh, which means Knowledge or Information.”
“That’s fine now come over here and try picking it up,” Wilonius said impatiently.
The young boy walked over to the place where the four superiors stood and on the table next to them, a long spear-like device awaited him. He stood there for a few seconds, admiring its beautiful craftsmanship and deciding whether or not he should pick it up. He reached down and as his hand tried for the handle, a wave of pure energy shot from it and hit his hand, startling him and forcing to avoid contact with the weapon.
“What happened?” Bradley asked confused.
“This is also quite common as well,” Duchess stated, “Sometimes the wielder’s own power isn’t at par with that of the weapon. If your level is lower than the Arma, than it will reject you, if you are level with it, than you can pick it up and use it as a regular weapon, but if you surpass it in power, that is when it will bond with you and you can use its special abilities to amplify the Arma and your power.”
“Next please,” Wilonius said impatiently.
The students conversed amongst each other for whom to go next, as they all excited to obtain an Arma, but frightened at the thought that they might not be to weak to actually wield it. So Kasumii decided that it was her turn. She went to the designated spot to show her abilities. She stretched her arms out with her palms facing upwards and closed her eyes. All of a sudden, something started to happen, the mist started to disappear and it was being drawn in by her hands and collecting until there was no fog over the area of the entire field creating to huge globes of water in her hands. She then spun around once and pushed her hands straight up into the air forcing the globes into the sky and causing it to drizzle over the field, getting everyone wet. Nobody seemed to care as they all clapped as Kasumii bowed.
“That was marvelous!” Wilonius cried out, “All though I would have preferred not getting wet, but still it was beautiful.”
“I am so sorry about that, I guess I went a little overboard on that.” She apologized.
“No need for apologies, deer.” Duchess said, “Anyway, your Arma will be the trident, known by the name of Kanpeki Konpeki.”
She walked over to the table and on the table sat a magnificent blue colored trident with incredible inlays of silver and gold. She slowly reached down for it, in fear of it do what it had done to Bradley, and as her fingers grasped it and she started to pick it up, a rush of energy overflowed through her body as a blinding majestic light shown from a blue crystal near the top of the weapon.
“Incredible!” Wilonius proclaimed as he and his colleagues uncovered their eyes as the light dimmed to a glow, “It appears as though the weapon has already bonded with you, this is an amazing feat and you manage to accomplish it, congratulations.”
The students clapped as she turned and faced them to walk back and join the group, bowing again as she reached them.
“Yeah, yeah, that’s enough off that already.” Jadwiga said with disgust, “It’s my turn to go.”
She walked over and stood a few meters away from the table and pointed at Wilonius. She concentrated on him for a few moments until something unexpected happened, Wilonius quickly jumped up on top of the table and started to break dance uncontrollably.
“What’s going on?” Wilonius screamed as he spun around on his head on the table.
“Quiet!” Jadwiga shouted, immediately immobilizing her victim’s ability to speak.
“That’s enough Jadwiga!” Duchess cried.
“Let him down now!” Malaika shouted.
“Fine, he was beginning to bore me anyways.” She said turning her focus away, causing Wilonius to fall off of the table and fall to the ground in a drunken like stupor.
The students all gasped as he lye their, possibly unconscious. They waited several moments before he slowly but finally stood up, dazed.
“Oh my head, I’m so dizzy. What just happened?” Wilonius said, a bit mixed up.
“That was a very, um, ‘good’ attempt to showing us your ability,” Duchess said a bit scared that the same would happen to her, ‘Your Arma will be the one called Doch’ Ved’my.”
She stepped up to the table, and on it was a broom made of metal. She picked it up nothing happened.
“Is this it?” She asked, “A broom, It didn’t do anything.”
“That means that you are at a level similar to that of the Doch’ Ved’my, This Arma is however a stronger level than others and therefore very surprising that you were able to pick it up.”
“That’s cool, I guess.” She said placing it back down on the table and heading back to join the others.
“I’ll go next.” Zokeii volunteered.
He stood at the designated area and started chanting in some unknown language. As his chanting increase, a loud roaring sound commenced. Where they stood, the ocean was somewhat visible off of the uninhabited side of the island. Giant waves began to form as he changed the tides with his lunar powers.
“Very impressive Zokeii.” Wilonius said, “I believe the perfect weapon for you will be the Yongheng Yewan, the Yueyachan or Monk’s Spade. So please come over and try your luck at picking it up.”
He walked over to the table where his new weapon laid waiting. He reached down for it and as his hand took hold of it, something very familiar happened, the same blinding light that had happened when Kasumii had picked up Kanpeki Konpeki, his soul was bonding with it as well.
“Amazing, this is the first time two students from the same year were able to immediately bond with their Arma.” said an astounded Wilonius.
“Really, that’s cool, right?” he said.
“Yes it is, this is very cool.” Wilonius said in excitement. “May the next person please come up then?”
Over the next hour almost all of the other students had gone, most of them were able to at least pick up their Arma some of the younger students however were not able too, due to a lack of experience and power. All of the students went, that is for the exception of two, Jake and Kuichi. Jake obviously because he wasn’t present at the moment, and Kuichi because she was afraid that if she showed her power to anybody, it might happen again, she didn’t want to lose her friends because by scaring them all away with it.
“Alright Kuichi,” Duchess said, “You are the last one please step forward.”
She hesitated but she finally started to walk towards the spot. She stood their for a while without doing anything but making a terrified face, she took a deep breath inhaling through her nose and exhaling through her mouth. She apologized to everyone and stood in a fighting stance. She gave off a loud scream as a flash of light and a pulse of energy flowing from her burst out like a bubble, causing a shock wave that hit the innocent bystander. As the students uncovered their faces and regained their balance, they saw what had happened, Kuichi was standing there her arms were transformed into large guns, there were blades and guns protruding from every area of her body, she looked like a giant death machine. As soon as the girl realized that her fellow students were staring at her, she pulled her weapons back into her body and in a flash she was back to normal. By the shocked face on everyone’s face, she was certain that she had petrified them with fear, which is until everyone started to cheer at the top of their lungs. She did a quick curtsy and ran to the table with her awaiting Arma, only when she reached it, the table was empty. She looked at her teachers puzzled.
“Dear, that was amazing. We don’t believe you actually need an Arma.” Malaika stated, “With your power and ability, you could easily defeat any foe you come across, thank you for that beautiful display Kuichi, dear.”
“Your welcome.” Kuichi said blushing as she went to the others that were still cheering.
“If that’s all of the students, then you can all have the rest of the day to yourself, spend it exploring the school and the campus.” Wilonius said, “Lunch is at twelve, in about an hour and dinner is at seven.  We will be requesting you to show up at four to meet where you were registered later today to hear the school rules and policies. Until then, don’t you do anything that you wouldn’t do at your old schools, or you will…”
He was suddenly interrupted as darkness started to fall over the field. The entire sky turned black and no one could see past the ends of their noses it was as if someone turned the skies lights off. As the students began to panic, not knowing what was happened, the darkness started to disappear. The darkness was being sucked into a single area as if it was being sucked into a black hole, it condensed until was a solid ball of pure black and darkness. This ball started to transform into a humanoid shape and as details started to appear on the mass, they could see that it was Jake.
“Well what did you think?” he asked with a big grin on his face, “That was one of my abilities. Now I’ll take my Arma if you don’t mind.”
He walked over to the table where the terrified teachers stood staring at him as he approached. He reached down and picked up a sword with a curved blade, it looked as though darkness itself was imbued within it.
“Ah well if it isn’t the Kris ‘Pure Darkness’, what a lovely choice for me.” he said.
He picked it up, and as it had happened to Kasumii and Zokeii, a light shone from it, but it wasn’t white light, it was a black light that darkened the area, almost blinding. The Kris was bonding with his soul. He took the sword with him as he walked away from the group.
“Wait, your not aloud to take the Arma with you at this time!” Wilonius shouted as Jake walked on.
“Sir, that wasn’t one of our Armas.” Duchess whispered to Wilonius.
“Indeed.” Wilonius whispered back, “We have to be very careful, the third soul bond in one day. It appears as though the prophecy is real after all.”
“It can’t be.” Malaika quietly said.
“We must inform Master Onderwijzer right away,” Wilonius replied, “Don not tell anybody else this information, understood?”
“Understood.” The two said together.
“Students,” He said, gaining the student’s attention, “as I was saying, we will be meeting again at four.”

T.S.O.M.A.S.A. - Chapter 2 (第ニ章)

I have finished my chapter 2, YAY!!! I stayed up till seven o'clock this morning finishing it, I would have finished it yesterday but I had to go to a family reunion. This chapter primarily focuses on introducing the island and the school, as well as other characters to the two sisters. We also finally get to learn about their special ability! Now here it is... Enjoy!
p.s. feel free to give feedback so I know how to make it better!

Chapter 2:

            The Island

It was magnificent; the sights that lie just ahead of them were astounding. The lights of the town and the beautiful castle atop the mountain, it was like something out of a dream. As they neared the dock, the passengers on board the ship started cheering and yelling with excitement.
It was around ten o’clock when they finally set anchor as its passengers left there ship. Three people were there, waiting for the children’s arrival. An older man with a short white beard and wore flowing white gowns. He appeared to be eighty years old, but the look in his eye suggested many more years of experience. The next was a younger woman who looked as though she was in her late sixties or early seventies. She had salt and pepper hair and wore a similar uniform as the other man, only in dark violet. The last man however, was very familiar to the two girls, the man with a red swirl shaped tattoo beneath his left eye.
“Hey! I know you!” shouted Bradley, “You helped me find my ticket when I lost mine at the station earlier today!”
The man did not reply.
It was the same man that had helped them fix there flat tire as they were driving to the station. The other man, however, did not seem to be present. His face could be clearly seen, now that there weren’t rain stained windows blurring his face. He was much younger looking than the two others, around the age of thirty, and he had very red hair. His hair was not like an orange like one would think of a red haired person as having, but instead it was like the color of a ruby, as the sun shines through it.  He, as well, was wearing similar robes, but in deep red.
The fifteen children one at a time walked down the dock at stop a few feet away from the three adults. With bags in hand and smiles on their faces (well al least most of them where smiling) they were greeted to their new life.
“Hello their children welcome to T.S.O.M.A.S.A.” said the older man in a low, whisper like voice, “I would like to introduce myself. I am Ludwig van Onderwijzer. I am the headmaster of the school that you will all be attending. Now I would like to introduce you to two of the people that will be helping you along your journey of self discovery, as well as helping you to control your special abilities.”
He beckoned to the woman in purple and she began to talk.
“Good Day children.” She said with a slight British accent, she appeared to be a very high class person. “My name is Lady Aethelflaed Blakemore, but you may call me Duchess. I will be your teacher in everything you need to know about Armas. Don’t bother about what that is, you will learn about that soon enough.”
Finally, the man with the tattoo introduced himself. In a kind and gentle voice, he said, “Welcome, I am Wilonius Rubyeye, that’s ‘Ruby’ and ‘Eye’, I am Master Onderwijzer’s personal assistant. Tomorrow I will be registering you to our wonderful school, and then you will be part of, what we like to call, our family.”
“Ha! Family? Is that what you like to call this pitiful group?” said a voice from the back of the new students.
A boy, about the age of the rest of the students pushed the crowd. He was a bit on the shorter side with short, spiky brown hair and a nice face. He didn’t appear to be the kind of person that would speak up in the manner in which he had.
“If you’re going to call it something as dumb as ‘Family’ than I don’t think I want to join your school” He said rudely.
“Did you see him on the boat?” Kasumii whispered to Kuichi and Jenny.
“I didn’t.” replied Kuichi, dumbfounded.
“Neither did I.” Jenny said, “But he’s pretty cute though isn’t he!”
“You don’t have to call it that if you do not wish it, but that will not stop me or any others from doing so.” Master Onderwijzer replied to Jake’s lewdness.
“Humph, whatever.” Jake stated as he walked off of the dock, starting toward the town. “I’ll see you tomorrow then, if I feel like showing up!”
“We’ll have to keep an eye on that boy,” Master Onderwijzer whispered to the two staff members, “he might prove to be more trouble than we would like.”
“Understood.” The two quietly replied.
“Well alright then children!” he said loudly, turning toward the other new students, startling them into attention. “I am sorry fro that, but now if you don’t mind, we shall continue. We will be heading to the school now.”
“What about him though?” asked Kasumii.
“Don’t you worry about him,” He said, turning towards her, “we’ll be seeing him again soon, don’t you worry.”
So the students picked up their bags and they started on foot towards the castle that they would be calling their school, and their home.

The group of five adults and fourteen students made their way through the small town at the base of the mountain. The people who lived there were lively and were very happy to see new faces on their little island. The students were greeted to a large crowd, full of men, women and children of all shapes, sizes and colors. The town was like something out of a picture book, a perfect little town with German style buildings, shops and houses lined the main street, stalls were everywhere, their wares were everything and anything you could imagine. Banners and ribbons of every imaginable color decorated every nook and cranny of the peaceful town. Lights illuminated from everywhere, they came from the windows as the children hung out of them cheering for the new arrivals, they came from the strands of lights that linked every building and wound themselves around every tree, and they came from the billions of stars and the moon that shown down so incredibly, that they looked as though they were a garment that was draped across the sky, so grand that the goddess Selene could have worn it on her very back.
They continued through the town, walking for about five minutes until they were passing the very last homes on the street. As they continued on, the cheering died down, and as the students could imagine, the people went back to their lives. The forest that covered the island and embraced the town, was slowly getting thicker and thicker until only a small sliver of the night sky could be seen.
“How much longer do we have to go, we’re all so exhausted.” said a female student to the group of adults.
“Quit your complaining,” Grimace barked at the girl, he was obviously tired himself, “We’ll get their when we get there.”
“Don’t worry children;” cut in Master Onderwijzer, “we are almost there.”
They continued walking for several more minutes, all the while the forest darker and denser and the students one by one started to complain before half of them were whining about the journey being too difficult. Then out of no where, they had arrived in a clearing, and what stood in front of them? It was the large rocky face of the cliff side of the mountain that the castle was atop. Seeing this got all of the children complaining, excluding Jadwiga (who didn’t seem to care about anything) and Kuichi (who was too shy to put out her feeling to a group of strangers)
“We aren’t going to climb that thing are we?” asked one student.
“We would never make, half of us would die before we reached the top.” added in another.
“Sir,” Kasumii addressed Master Onderwijzer, “isn’t there another way to the top of the mountain, maybe like a path or stairs or something?”
“Of course there is. But that is on the other side of the mountain. Besides, this way is much more fun!” He exclaimed, proceeding to point up the steep rock face, “It looks as though our ride is here.”
The children all looked up to the castle, where a set of lights that had not been there earlier, was starting to move down the side of the mountain towards them.
“What is that thing?” asked one of the students.
“That; is our ride children.” Master Onderwijzer replied. “Please stand aside; we don’t want any squished children that we need to explain to anybody!”
The group took several steps back as the lights neared their stop. It reached its destination, stopping just a few centimeters from the ground. It was a trolley car, the kind that took skiers to the top of the mountains they were going to ski down. Only there was one difference, this trolley wasn’t attached to anything, no cables or gears; it was just the cart, floating in midair, right in front of the children’s bewildered faces.
“Is that what we’re taking to the top?” asked the boy that had early tried to talk to the girls earlier.
“That… That’s not possible!” a very confused Bradley stammered.
“But it’s so pretty!” exclaimed Jenny.
“That’s right children,” Master Onderwijzer assured the students, “This is how we are getting up to the school. Now everybody, go ahead and get on!”
The children all quickly boarded the strange machine. The doors closed shut and it started on its way up the mountain cliff.
“Are you sure this is safe” asked a terrified Kasumii, who just happens to be afraid of heights.
“It’s been safe for over nine hundred years,” A reassuring Wilonius replied, “I don’t think that’s going to change because we have some new students.”
They rose about ten meters before they cleared the tree tops, all the while, Kasumii was closing her eyes. As they past the trees and their speed started to increase slightly, Kasumii heard the other students gasp.
“WHAT!? OMG! WE’RE FALLING, AREN’T WE?” She screamed, slowly uncovering her eyes.
As she uncovered her eyes, she was greeted to what had made the others gasp, not out of fear, but out of astonishment. The twinkling light of the town below and off in the distance, was like a pool of dancing stars, it was a beautiful site, easily matched with the sight they were greeted to in the town, and as they first neared the island as the fog cleared. As they ascended the mountain, the view became more spectacular, as the ocean became visible and the giant moon, which seemed five times larger than any moon she had ever seen, reflected off of the rippling water.
“Alright, but I’m still afraid of heights.” she said, jokingly as the others laughed with her.
In about fifteen minutes, they reached the top of the cliff, and as they landed on a small platform, the students realized that, there were more people there to meet the new students, about twenty other teachers in front, all in similar uniforms as the other staff they had already met, just in various other colors. Behind them, was a large group of students, about a hundred of them, waiting for there arrival. As the children walked out of the trolley and on to the platform, they were met with another loud cheer, as they had when they entered the town. All of the new students looked delighted to be greeted by there new ‘family’. All but one, who had noticed something about all of the students that stood in front of her, something that she did not like at all.
“Are you serious? Uniforms? I did not sign up to wear some stupid uniform.” Jadwiga said with a glare. “If you think you’re going to get me to wear one of those preppy, little things, then you have lost it.”
“I’m sorry Jadwiga,” apologized Master Onderwijzer, “It is our school policy, that way people are judged by there personality and not what they wear or what they look like. But you don’t have to wear your uniforms if you are going down into town or when you are in your chambers.”
“Chambers?” asked Kasumii, trying to change the subject.
“Yes dears, you all get chambers or rooms.” quickly replied Duchess, who was also trying change the subject. “We will be taking you to your chambers very shortly.”
“That’s right, I almost forgot!” exclaimed Master Onderwijzer, “We should take them to their chambers right away; they’re probably all exhausted from their long journey.”

The students followed the teachers as they led them to the entrance of the mighty palace. It was a strange building, not like what they could see from the boat. They thought it was like a European style castle found in Germany and other countries, with the tall spires and battlements, but upon closer inspection, the castle was a medley of many different styles of architecture, there were the spire of the German castles that they could see from the boat, but there were Asian style pitched roofs, and Greek columns, there were domes, windows and doors of many different styles and colors and although it was still so random and dysfunctional, it still was a truly beautiful building.
They passed through a huge courtyard, full of lovely trees and flowers with smells and sights familiar and bizarre to the students. At the end of this magnificent courtyard was the main entrance, they walked into this front door, a giant Siamese style door with elaborate carvings and gold leaf, as they did so, the other students separated and so too went along with their own lives, dispersing into the many doors that stood faced in towards the main courtyard. As they entered this building, they were once again greeted by an amazing sight; they stood in a grand hallway, with decorations and portraits on every surface, with grand staircases going to unknown rooms, and huge, open doors that seemed to invite them into each and every one of them as they meandered past. They walked down this hallway for a short time until they reached a large door, larger then any of the ones they had already went by, large enough to fit a whole school bus into. The door opened as if some invisible door man on the other side knew that they had arrived and had opened the door so that they may pass. This door led to another hallway, smaller than the first, but still grand none the less. A couple of doors were spotted on the walls along the length of this hallway; the rest of the space was occupied again by luxurious décor and stunning paintings. At the end of this hallway was a large staircase. After reaching the top of the landing, they seemed to enter a completely different building, the walls were not royal, as they had been in the last rooms, but simple and plain, with few paintings and sconces here and there, the doors were also different. They weren’t large inviting entrances, but rather, dull square doors made of plain wood.
“This, children,” said Wilonius, “Is where you will be staying for the rest of this year, You will be moving to a new area of the castle next year, to make room for new students, and in you final year here, you will again be moved to another area of the castle. For now, though, this is your home, each room or chamber has two beds, a sitting area and a bathroom. Meals will be held in the Grand Dining Hall at breakfast lunch and dinner. There is a small café in the main courtyard, open between 6:00 o’clock in the morning until 7:30 at night. There is a curfew; first years must be in there rooms by 8:30 and in bed by 9:00. There will be a nightly bed check to make sure that no one is not where they are supposed to be and that…”
“Alright, that’s enough rules for them to here tonight!” Master Onderwijzer suddenly cut in, “The children are tired and need there rest for tomorrow is a big day, they will be told the rules tomorrow. Alright students we have you all split up into groups of two for the chambers, boys with boys and girls with girls, that same old thing. We give you the choice to be paired with who ever you would like; these roommates will not change until next year so choose wisely!”
The students all chose there roommates quickly, as they met each other on the boat and had already started bonding. Kasumii chose Kuichi of course, as her sister does not do well with strangers.
“Oh, that’s not fair!” Stated Jenny, stomping her foot down, “Why do I have to be stuck with Jadwiga! Can’t we be in rooms of three or something?”
“I’m sorry Jenny, but if anyone ever decides that they want to switch roommates, then you will of course be first on the list to switch out.” Wilonius said, “Alright now it’s time to go to bed, you all have to wake up early tomorrow, wake up is at six sharp.”
“OOHH!” all of the students said with a groan.
“Good night students.” Master Onderwijzer declared.
“Good night Master Onderwijzer.” the children all said in tired, disappointed voices.
The students all chose there rooms from the available rooms at the time (which they could tell by the open doors), there were rooms with closed doors, so that must have meant that there were already some first year students attending the school. But that was business for tomorrow, and now the girls were exhausted and travel weary, and so they chose there room, number 115, near the end of the hall and walked in to there new room. The room was fairly large, with two comfortable looking beds and a big window with of view of the town below. The furniture was a little outdated but all in all it would be sufficient for the two girls.
They through there bags down near the end of the beds that they chose, Kasumii’s on the left closer to the window, Kuichi’s on the right against the wall. They opened them and changed into their pajamas then climbed into bed without as much as a word to each other. They lay silent for a while in the dark still trying to grasp the whole situation.
“Well,” Kasumii said, breaking the silence, “We’re finally here.”
“I know, isn’t more than you could have ever dreamed it would be?” Kuichi excitedly whispered back.
“This place is incredibly beautiful.” Kasumii said.
“It is,” her sister whispered back, “But we can talk more tomorrow, I think we should go to sleep now, we have to wake up early.”
“Oh, alright. Good night Kuichi.” Kasumii said, sounding a bit disappointed that her sister didn’t want to discuss with her how happy she felt.
“Good night Kasumii.” Kuichi replied, half asleep already.
Surprisingly, Kasumii fell asleep almost instantly as well. Not amazing because she wasn’t tired, which she was, but amazing because her racing thoughts and excitement had just kept her up the night before, questioning every aspect of that day. As soon as she closed her eyes, she felt a strange force come over her, as if it made her fall asleep, like in the stories she heard as a young child, about a magical creature that sprinkled sand in children’s eyes to lure them to sleep, but it was a peaceful feeling, as if she was meant to be there and everything was going to be alright.

A loud sound startled the girls awake, the sound of a bugle coming from the hallway. The two girls looked at each other bewildered and leapt out of bed. They snuck their heads out of the door, as the other students did as well, to see Wilonius standing at the top of the stairs with a student holding the bugle in question.
“What the heck is your problem, Will?” one of the boys called from another room.
“First of all its Wilonius, if you do not wish to call me by my real name, then you can refer to me by my Moniker ‘Redwind'” Wilonius stated, “Second, it is time to wake up as we need to register the new students today, the other first years are aloud to go back to sleep for another half an hour until their normal wake up time, the rest of you get freshened up and meet me in the main courtyard in twenty minutes.”
The girls stuck their heads back in and quickly took showers and got dressed. They left their room in eighteen minutes, hair still wet and hurriedly headed to the meeting point designated just minutes earlier, almost positive they would be the last ones there. As they got to the first landing of stirs a voice called out from behind them.
“Wait for me!” Jenny cried, running to catch up with them hair wet still, too. “Are we the last ones?
“I don’t know.” answered Kasumii, “I didn’t see anyone else.”
“Well let’s hurry up; we don’t want to be late. That Wilonius guy looks like he can be really uptight about things.” Jenny said running ahead of them, “I’ll race you!”
“Wait Jenny, I don’t think we’re aloud to run in the halls!” Kasumii called after her.
It was too late, she was too far ahead already, the sisters looked at each and shrugged their shoulders, and then they chased after her, with big smiles on their faces. They caught up to Jenny in a few seconds as she was wearing heals and running in them made her tired, slowing her down considerably. When the girls reached her, they were at the large doorway to the grand hallway.
“Come on Jenny, last one there is a rotten egg!” Kasumii hollered as she ran past and opened the large door, her sister following close behind.
Kasumii entered the large hallway, running at a break neck pace. She looked back to see where her competition was, not realizing that her sister had suddenly skidded to a halt, she ran right into large wall, almost knocking her off of her feat. She looked up to see that it wasn’t a wall at all, but a large man, the same man that, along with Wilonius, had helped to change their tire the day before by lifting up their entire truck. She could see him clearly now, he was very muscular with a square jaw and a fairly handsome face, he also wore the same robes as the other staff, but in a dark brown with some blue.
“I am so sorry!” Kasumii cried out loud, “I didn’t know you were there.”
“Where are you kids going so fast,” he said in an Australian accent, completely ignoring the small girl’s apology, “You know you’re not aloud to run in the hallways.”
“We’re very sorry sir,” Kuichi apologized quietly for her misbehavior, “We are new students here and are supposed to meet with Mister Wilonius in a minute, we were only trying to be on time.”
“Oh is that the case.” He replied, “Well you better get going. That Wilonius can get pretty uptight about the smallest things. I’ll let this one slide this time, but if I find you girls running in the halls next time, well then I’ll just have to punish you.”
This was said in a jokingly manner.
“Thank you sir,” Jenny said, “Well we’d better get going now.”
The man walked away and the girls giggled amongst themselves as they headed for the courtyard.
They exited the building to find that only three other students, not including themselves, were already outside along with Wilonius. The other students did not seem to be there yet, and the girls had barely a minute left to spare. The three other students were Soyokaze, Bradley, and the boy that was going to introduce himself to the girls. Kasumii, Kuichi and Jenny reached to sorry group as a fourth walked out of the grand door, a boy they were not introduced to the day before.
They waited a couple of minutes before more of the students showed up. Each one that was late received a stern look from Wilonius as they joined the rest of the students. Within five minutes almost all of the students had arrived, all but two, Jadwiga and one of the guys (Jake of course was not there, but they had not seen him since the night before.
They all stood together and decided to introduce themselves, Kasumii started first.
“Hi I’m Kasumii Yoshigawa and I am eighteen years old,” she said, “and this is my sister Kuichi, she’s seventeen and doesn’t like to talk all that much.”
“My name is Jenny Sunshine! I am sixteen; I just got my license a few days before arriving here!” Jenny excitedly shouted.
“I’m sure I don’t have to introduce myself,” stated Bradley, “but I’ll tell you who I am anyway. I am Bradley Worm, the smartest one here as well as the most handsome. I am thirteen years old.”
“Yeah right little boy,” Said another student. “Hi I’m Prakasa Lumina and I am fourteen years old, I’m pretty smart myself.”
“Not as smart of me of course.” declared Bradley, making a smug look at Prakasa, who in return made a funny face to him.
“Alright, that’s enough of that,” cut in a male student, “My name is Sen Hyung, and I am seventeen years old. My… friend and I are from Korea.”
“That’s me!”  A boy standing next to him said, “I am Sen Young, It’s nice to meet you all. Oh yeah, and I am fifteen.”
“Hello, I am Zo…” the boy Kasumii had been waiting to meet started while the two students they had been waiting for walked out of the building.
“You two!” Wilonius shouted, interrupting the introduction, “You have made us wit for twenty minutes, all of the other students have been waiting here patiently for you to arrive and I think it is very rude to make us wait for this long…”
“Yeah, well we’re here now. That’s all that matters, isn’t it?” the late boy interrupted.
“Hmm, indeed, very well then let us move along then children” Wilonius said, obviously trying to keep his temper with the new students
Wilonius started to walk, the children followed behind. They walked several meters before reaching a door left of the main entrance. They entered. As they walked through the door, they were in a large room, mostly empty with only a desk and a few chairs. Sitting at the desk already were Lady Aethelflaed and a woman with dark skin they had seen the night before.
“Alright students,” Wilonius called a he filled in the last seat at the desk, “Line up against the back wall and we will call up one at a time for registration.”
The students followed his command and lined up along the wall, feeling as if they had just become a part of a police lineup. Wilonius beckoned for the first person on the left side of the line, Jadwiga.
“You are all going to tell me your name, how old you are, which country you come from, and your ability.” Wilonius said as Jadwiga walked over to the front of the desk. “I will then assign you a name this name is your Moniker, all students on this campus and that have ever attended this school have been assigned a Moniker. You may begin.”
“Fine. My name is Jadwiga Vasilissa, I am from Ukraine and I am nineteen. My power is Mind Control.” Jadwiga said.
“Mind control, Ukraine, alright Jadwiga, your Moniker will be ‘Sestra Jaga’.” said Wilonius.
Next up was the other boy who was late to the meeting.
“Sup, the names Tourou Ei, I’m nineteen too, I’m from San Fran and my power is Fire.”
“Fire, San Francisco, alright Tourou, your Moniker will be ‘Flash Fire’.”
“The name is Bradley, Bradley Worm. I am thirteen, I come from Southern Wales but I grew up in America and my aptitude is Infinite Knowledge.” Bradley said who was next up. “Feel free to give me a cool Moniker like Super Genius or Really Cool Smart Handsome Guy!”
“Alright Bradley, from now on your Moniker will be ‘Brain Worm’.” Wilonius said, ignoring the last part of what Bradley had said.
“I suppose that is sufficient enough.” Bradley replied, returning to his spot as the next student went up.
“Hello, my name is Kasumii Yoshigawa. I come from Krestalia and I am eighteen years old. My special power is Water Manipulation.” Kasumii said to the three teachers.
“Water?” Wilonius asked, “Does that mean you can control ice as well?”
“I’m not sure, I’ve never really tried, and I guess it’s possible.” Kasumii answered him.
“Very well than, then your Moniker is ‘Hydraoi’.” Wilonius said in response to Kasumii’s answer.
Next up was her sister.
“Uhm, my name is… Kuichi,” she stammered, “I am seventeen and, uh. I am from… Krestalia, too. My power is uhm, murmur, murmur.” The last part of what she said was not audible to human ears.
“I’m sorry Kuichi, we couldn’t hear the last part about you ability,” said Wilonius, “If you please repeat yourself.”
“My power is, I’m an Ultimate Weapon.” Kuichi said slightly louder.
“I see, so you are the granddaughter of Keiji. Very well, your Moniker shall be ‘Dread Star’.” Wilonius said, as Kuichi quickly bowed and turned away to join the other students.
The other students’ information was as follows:

Finally it was the last one for registration, a boy, someone that Kasumii had been waiting to meet. The boy with the black hair that shone in the moonlight, the boy who had wanted to introduce himself every time, but every time had been interrupted. He was about to walk up to the desk and finally have everyone know who he was, when all of a sudden, the doors to the room they were in burst open, revealing Jake, the mysterious guy that had left there group the night before. As he entered the room, everyone became silent, the other boy returned to his original spot, another interruption keeping Kasumii from fining out his identity. Jake walked up to the desk to the surprise of the three staff members.
“My name is Jake, you don’t need to worry about where I come from or how old I am, if you must know my ability, it is Darkness.” Jake said, “That’s all you need to know about me and that’s all I’m going to tell you about me. Oh yes and my Moniker will be what is written down on your little piece of paper.”
Wilonius and the other two teachers looked down at the paper, and to their surprise, his information was already written down, his Moniker ‘Evil Dark Lord’. Wilonius tried to erase it, but it was no use, even though it was only written in pencil, for some reason it wouldn’t erase.
“Very well ‘Evil Dark Lord’ it’s nice to see you showed up.” Wilonius said, still confused about the whole situation.
As soon as he was done talking, Jake walked away from the desk and left the room, the teachers and students alike, staring at the now closed door, confused and bewildered about what had just happened.
“Alright then, the last one can come up.” Wilonius quickly switched back to his duties.
Finally, no more interruptions, he was going to introduce himself.
“My name is Zokeii Kōriwa, I am eighteen years old and I too come from Krestalia. My ability includes that of the moon, what that means, you will just have to find out.” He said.
“Ooh, Mister Mysterious are you? Very well then, your Moniker shall be ‘Midknight’.” Wilonius concluded. “Alright now that you are all registered here, you can start classes immediately, your first class is in Arma Histories, I’m sure you’ll all enjoy that, you class will start in one hour and will be meeting in Room 355 Area B, just enough time to finish getting ready and having breakfast. Now there is one more thing, I would like to welcome you to our school as you are now active students here, so welcome.”
