Which One?

Yay it's time for another episode of WHICH ONE?!!! So here is the picture, a rose bush, the difference this time is that the black and white version is the original and the colored version is from my own creation. I like the black and white version because of, again, the effect that black and white makes photographs look good and the fact that it is the original. I like the colored version because it is not very realistic and the colors are really nice, but I did mess up on it in a few places (Don't kill me, please). So here they are.

Scary Ghost Pictures

Here are some really scary ghost pictures that I took a awhile back.

I think this is the scariest one!

What do you think? Are they real? Are they scary?

Europe Trip #1: The Netherlands

Finally the first post on the Europe Trip Series! Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We arrived by plane via Heathrow Airport (London) to Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam). We took a bus from the airport, meeting the group from Texas, to our hotel to drop our luggage off, then we walked to the metro station and took the train to the center of town where we met the other two groups. We walked around town for the rest of the day until we met for dinner. We had giant PANCAKES!!! They were so good, but so filling, I could hardly eat half of it, mine was covered in powdered sugar... YUM!!! Then we went back to the hotel for that night.

The next morning we met for breakfast in the hotel and they had really good food, the best breakfast selection we were to find the whole trip. We went back to the center and than we walked to the Anne Frank House, a life changing event. Then we took a boat tour of the many canals before ending up in the (Red Light District at night) diamond factory and took a tour. After that we walked back to the town center and then finally met at the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. Let's just say, BEST HAMBURGER I HAVE EVER EATEN!!! We went back our hotel for the night and in the morning we enjoyed the sam kind of breakfast that we enjoyed the first morning before getting on our bus and meeting our wonderful bus driver Ute, whom we were able to have the company of until Switzerland. That day we drove to Germany taking one stop before leaving the country.

Here are some pictures of the first two days:

Check back soon for the next installation: Germany! Hope you liked them

Europe Trip!

I never said anything about this before, but now I think is the time to talk about it. This summer I went on a sort-of school trip to Europe, it was with some of the kids in my Design Class of last year, along with my old Design teacher. We took a plane from LAX to London, then from London to Amsterdam. We stayed Two night in Amsterdam then took a charter bus to Germany and stayed on night in a scary hotel a few miles outside of Heidelberg. Then we drove to Munich and stayed a night there. We then drove though Austria, stopping at the Kristallwelten and then Innsbruck. We did not stay in Austria but instead drove to Venice, Italy. We stayed outside of Venice for two nights and then drove to Switzerland, stopping in Verona. We stayed for two nights in Engleburg in Switzerland and visited Lucerne. We then drove to Dijon France and stayed there one night. After that we went to Paris and were there for two nights, finally we took the Eurostar to London and stayed there for two nights.

In total there were eleven of us in our group, and there were four other groups, one from Austin, Texas, one from Terre Haute, Indiana, and finally from Oh my gosh I can't remember! Anyway, we all became friends adn whatnot. Over all it was fantastic and life changing, I didn't eat a lot though (I'm not really that big of an eater, and there was a lot of weird stuff that I didn't really like, except for the BREAD!) Hopefully I will post all of my wonderful pictures and stuff from the trip soon, there will probably be different posts for each country so look out!

Oh yes and I also finished my first semester of college on Wednesday. I will also be posting my many art projects that I did through out the Fall real soon too, so yeah.

Is That a GHOST!?

Here are some rather scary pictures I took a while back.

What do you think? The first and last ones look like a scary head and the second one looks like it is sitting in my desk chair. SCARY!!!

Which One?

Here is another issue of Which One? Here is the picture info: Late Spring of '10, Cloudy day, A flock of seagulls and one Pelican...

Again I have the same problems with picking which I like better, I like the effect of black and white, but I like the colors of the original photo. What do you think?

Sad News:

About a week ago, our beloved dog Tremor, died at the age of around nineteen. We believe that it might have been the medicine we gave our two dogs to help with worms that one of them had (not quite sure which one it was that had it so we gave it to both).

He was blind as a bat and we suspect that he might have also been deaf as well, his health has deteriorated over the past couple of months and we think the medicine was just to much for him. He was able to pull through for three days, barely being able to move except for his head.

It is kind of mean but how my father described his movements was like in the Terminator when the machine gets cut in half but is still going after them all twitchy like and stuff.

We buried him the backyard along side some of our other deceased pets. We aren't all terribly sad because we do know that he was very old (like 133 in dog years) hopefully he is in a better place now and we will miss him dearly.

Here is the most recent picture of him, from around a month ago...

Day After Thanksgiving

On the day after Thanksgiving (yesterday) we went to the pond at the park where the ducks hang out and where our duck Huck is too. We couldn't exactly find him so we walked around the pond looking for him waiting for him to come to us. It was a beautiful day and I was able to take a quite a few beautiful photographs. Here are some of them.

Wonderful News

I have wonderful news! About two weeks ago, my parents went back to the park with my sister and guess what? They found Huck!!! Everyone was so happy to hear that. So we have gone back a couple of times. But when we went a couple days ago he didn't come to us, we are pretty sure we saw him with the duck that he likes to hang out with the other times we went there. So here are some new pictures of him from the second to last time we went.

Sad News: Huck

Yesterday, the Eighth of November, our family had a terrible loss. Our beloved pet duck Huck escaped. We went around town looking for him, searching the skies, going to the pond that we took him to the one time where the other ducks hang out. There were so many at the pond in the park that looked exactly like him that we couldn't tell if he was among them or not. We are still hoping that he is fine and hopefully will return home soon. We are going to keep his cage door wide open with fresh, clean water in his bowl and food in his dish in hopes that some day soon he will return. We all miss him very much and hope for the best.

So here are some more old photos of him...
