Santa Barbara Sunset

Here are some pics I took while I was waiting to get picked up from school last Wednesday. We went out for my birthday to a lighthouse themed pizza placed.

Tonight's Sunset

The sunset today was pretty. The clouds on the East and the West were very bright pink.

I took quite a few pictures of it, so here are some of them!

The moon tonight is full, and it also has a reddish color to it. It looks so cool, and spooky (spooky because I just went to the two new Halloween stores that opened in my town. They both had really cool stuff, but one had items that I think I will get for my costume this year.) Anyways, I took some pictures of the moon tonight, in fact I took a lot, Only the best ones were chosen for the blog, so here they are!

Fourth of July

I have here some old photos from this past Fourth of July. Every year in our town, there is a fireworks display at the high school football field. It's nothing special, so we don't usually spend the money to go and watch it. We do, however, sit on the roof of which ever house we are living in at the time, this year we sat on the garage. So I tried taking some pictures of the fireworks, most of which did not come out very well, but I did get some pretty good shots, so here they are.

After the show, we went into the alley and did a couple of roman candles, I took pictures.

Mysterious Lights in the Valley

About a week ago I was trying to take a picture of the moon because it was a full moon and was very beautiful. When I went outside and took the pictures, this was on only one of the pictures, take a look and tell me what you think of it.

Isn't it weird looking, I wonder what it is?

Santa Barbara

Today I attended my college classes, as I have been for one week now. I have one class (3d Design) in the evening on Mondays and Wednesdays (5:00-7:15). I bring my camera with me almost every class, in case I see something I absolutely have to take a picture of (like on my very first class when I had to wait for my ride, the way the moon was above the mountains shining on the sea in the twilight hours was  beautiful - too bad I didn't have camera with me on that day, boo.) Anyway, today I did have my camera with me, and all though there wasn't a full moon out today, I did get to capture a few great shots in the Santa Barbara Harbor. I got back home just in time to watch the last half of the new episode of my favorite show (GHOST HUNTERS!!!).

Strange Pink Weather

A while ago (around March) in the town that I live in, the sky turned bright red and pink and there was a double rainbow. The strange phenomena started around sunset and lasted for a couple of hours. Here are some of the pictures I took of that day.
